    Examples: Integration of an acquired company; redesign and/or implementation of HR programs, processes and systems.
     

  • Need a temporary team member who can step in quickly to help with a number of activities for a few months but don't need the skillset or capacity in-house on a permanent basis.

    Examples: maternity leave coverage, year-end cycles (compensation, promotions, annual updates), significant organizational changes.

Onboarding

  • Information gathering & onboarding, Meet & Greets with key stakeholders

  • Initial review of the programs, processes, systems and data

  • Summary of understanding of the role expectations and deliverables to be confirmed with the management team

Doing the work

  • Regular reporting and updates to the management team

  • Reporting to the executive committee for decision making, including data analytics and presentations (optional, depending on the role)

Project wrap-up

  • Documentation of key activities and results

  • Transition of role back to permanent employee (optional, for role replacement)

  • Employee training to take over certain tasks and activities (optional)

  • Exit interview and confirmation of deliverables
